Our goal is to bring beauty, relaxation, and joy into your life by creating the perfect customized outdoor environment. We provide exclusive environments which aim to suit the needs of your family or business. Each conceptual design is thoroughly planned using consideration, especially in regard to:
- The home owner's family composition
- Architectural style of the home
- The lay of the land and the soil composition
- Desired uses and activities
- Level of maintenance desired
- Water usage desired
The design staff are required to attend annual educational seminars. As an affiliate member of the ASLA, she encourages her staff to keep abreast of new techniques and product information. The practice of continual education allows us to better facilitate our clients and make informed decisions regarding their landscapes.
Take A Look at Our Design Process
STEP ONE: INTERVIEW PROCESS
A meeting at the job site is scheduled with all concerned parties, i.e. Homeowners, business partners or board members. At this meeting a short presentation of our past work is presented so that the client is clear on the services and products which we offer. The next step is to go over a detailed questionnaire with the clients to make sure that they have been given every opportunity to relay concerns, living situations, desired style and realistic project budget information. Once the Q & A session is complete we will walk the property taking all necessary notes and general measurements in order to give an accurate cost estimation of Design fees. Once the client agrees to our terms a contract outlining our responsibilities is signed by both parties and a 10% deposit of estimated fees is required at the time of signing the contract. If it has been decided that a full landscape design is unnecessary and a simple consultation will satisfy the client’s needs the cost will be determined at that time.
STEP TWO:
Our staff schedules a time to return to the job site in order to take accurate measurements and record any necessary site information.
STEP THREE: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN CREATED
A Conceptual Design is generated giving all proposed suggestions about plant material, lighting, drainage, any structural additions as well as landscape features such as pools, spas, cooking areas, fire or water features, play areas etc. A meeting is then scheduled to go over every detail of the proposed plan. At this meeting the client has the opportunity to clarify any questions while making any desired changes. The meeting concludes once all parties feel satisfied that we have covered every aspect of the plan.
STEP FOUR: FINAL CHANGES & DETAILS
All necessary changes are made and final to scale blue prints are produced along with any information and detailed drawings necessary to complete the installation. The clients can go in several directions at this point. They can take it upon themselves to either install the project or find a contractor to do so.
